At the core of NKD is a bamboo-based fabric blend chosen for its naturally lightweight, smooth feel and ability to stay breathable and comfortable against the skin. It’s soft without being delicate, supportive without feeling restrictive, and designed to feel effortless in motion.

Why We Started NKD

NKD started with a simple frustration: everyday essentials that never quite felt right.

Too many pieces were either uncomfortable, over-engineered, or designed without real consideration for how people actually move throughout the day. Seams showed through clothing. Fabrics felt heavy or restrictive. Comfort was treated as an afterthought.

We wanted something different... essentials that felt natural on the body and disappeared once worn. Pieces designed with intention, not excess.

NKD was created to focus on what truly matters: how something feels, how it moves, and how it supports everyday life without calling attention to itself. By prioritizing thoughtful materials and clean construction, we set out to create essentials that feel effortless, breathable, and comfortable from the first wear to the last.
